A twenty year old Peruvian man who earned 4,000 soles at a slot machine in a local casino in San Luis- Perú- has made a complaint after having been denied the prize he had won. Apparently, it is not the first time that such irregularities occur, he said.
The man arrived to the casino to play some chips in a popular slot machine called “Los indios”. Lady fortune smiled when after a while he won the highest prize. Rapidly, the man proceeded to collect his money, but the administrators of the casino were not in the mood to pay it.
Local police agents arrived to the place where the slot machine is located to take a formal complaint. It is also known that the victim of the fraud was mistreated by the casino
"Unbelievably I have been waiting over twelve hours to collect the prize I won at the slots. A while ago I was told they could pay 1,700 soles, and the rest on Monday, but nobody guarantee it"- the angry young man spoke.
And added- "It is not the first time that such irregularities occur. Sometimes you are paid in chips, the same ones that you keep playing until you end up with nothing. The authorities should intervene in such businesses because they do what they want"
